A case has been registered against police sub-inspector Rajshekhar Nagappa Salgare of Manikpur police station.

On 16/05/2024, a Railway Police Employee (Vasai) named Isam went to Mohammad Ali Ansari, a resident of Manikpur Vasai, to make a key. When Ansari asked him to pay the remaining Rs 20, the Vasai railway police official got angry and threatened to take him to the police station, saying that he was a policeman. The Human Rights Commission has asked the government to submit a statement on June 26, in which a case has been registered against the concerned Sub-Inspector of Police Rajshekhar Nagappa Salgare at the Manikpur Police Station under the case register number 178/2024 and section 325,323,504 of the IPC after the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi party's district president Shri Sushant Madhukar Pawar staged a protest. The concerned police officers are still working in the same police station, so there is no certainty that the investigation will be impartial. They should be suspended with immediate effect and the investigation of this crime should be transferred to other police stations. This demand has been made by Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi district president Sushant Madhukar Pawar. ....
