 Live every moment of it as life is unpredictable, and we never know when we might see someone for the last time. Today, we will discuss the tragic death of a filmmaker who was the son of a former Chennai Mayor.

Tamil filmmaker Vetri Duraisamy, who went missing after a car accident on February 4, was discovered in the Sutlej River in Himachal Pradesh. He was the son of former Chennai Mayor Saidai Duraisamy and was traveling with a friend when their car plunged into the river near National Highway 5 in the Lahaul-Spiti area, near Kashang Nala.

A total of three people were in the vehicle that veered off the road and fell into the Sutlej river, Vetri, his friend Gopinath, and the driver Tanjeev. The driver Tanjeev lost his life and was swept away by the river. While Gopinath sustained injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital.

Following the incident, Vetri Duraisamy went missing, prompting an intensive search operation to find him. After a 9-day rescue operation, his body was found.

Kinnaur's Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Naveen Jalta, stated, 'The divers recovered the body of Vetri Duraisamy, around three kilometers downstream from the spot where the vehicle fell into the river. The body was recovered today (Monday) at around 2 PM and was sent for postmortem to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla."
